The magic of Belize's Maya culture will come alive in 2012 with a fascinating assortment of events taking place at Maya Temple festivals all around the country. The Altun Ha Maya Fest in the north will feature the Kinich Ahaw Art Exhibition while the Lubantun Music Fest in the South will celebrate the dawn of a new era with indigenous music played on traditional handmade instruments. In Belize's west they'll be celebrating at the Fiesta del Pillar in Bullet Tree Falls and the San Jose Succotz Fiesta near the Guatemalan border. Towards the east the new beginning will be heralded in on the islands with the Costa Maya Celebrations in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye while on the smaller cayes there will be a lively variety of Maya themed celebrations as everyone takes part honouring this important part of Belize’s culture throughout 2012.The Experience
